Preparation for IVF
For the success of this procedure it is very important that both partners will take part in it- with their bodies and souls. Positive thinking and wishes to change their life to better – is the essential condition of producing a healthy baby. Our program of positive thinking includes a number of recommendations on nutrition and physical activities, and also some psychological aspects.
Both partners should participate in this program which begins 3 weeks before conception.
The program consists of 3 items: nutrition, physical activities and thinking.
Nutrition: Cleanse your organism from toxins by applying of balanced nourishment and food additives, vitally important for mother and a unborn baby. Lose weight. Give up smoking – nicotine affects oocyte and sperm. Drink at least 2 liters water per day. Give up eating chocolate, sweeties, pickled products. Give up caffeine: any kind of coffee, coca-cola and tea ( herbal teas are allowed).Don’t drink alcohol and carbonated beverages . Don’t eat canned food. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Eat at least a handful of nuts daily.
Consume no less than 60 g. Protein daily.Less quantity may cause increasing of oocytes amount. Add in your ration fatty vegetable acids: olive oil, sunflower or pumpkin seeds ( not salty). Fatty acids are very important for hormonal balance and health of ovaries. Avoid eating animal fats. Vitamin E, C, B6 provide enriching liquid in the zone of ovaries.
Zinc is necessary for producing hormones. Magnesium, selenium, Vitamin A aid oocytes to develop. Iron and enzyme Q10 help to develop of the urine tissue.
Physical activities: Physical activities must be permanent but not excessive. Walking and swimming are the most suitable kinds of sports for this period. Staying in the sitting position for a long time is contra-indicated as the blood circulation of the lower part of the abdomen in this condition is disturbed, that has negative result for the treatment. You should rest and relax as much as possible.
Exercises with training devices should be changed for walking: half a hour three times a week. Going for Yoga gymnastic, do exercises for strengthening arms and upper part of the spine, go to the swimming pool.
Thinking is decreasing of stress: Excessive stress may harm your treatment. The only thing you should think about is your healthy and happy baby in your hands. Meditate 10 minutes every day: switch off telephones, computer, sit down comfortably, relax and repeat:” Since this day I do all my best to give birth to healthy baby and my health and my body are important for me, I want to get it ready for better life”. Think more about happy moments of your life. Laugh more: laughter get you free from stress. Live an active social life, meet relatives and friends.
